I'll be traveling by AP Express this Sunday, starting at 5:30 pm. Just last week we got the news that checking would be intensified at the NDLS station, and when I see the net regarding NDLS, it seems pretty jam-packed. I'll be traveling with 75 kg luggage (2 suitcases loaded with books), which I need to get weighed and booked.

I need info regarding
- approximate time taken for luggage booking,
- which side of the station should I drop in for the luggage
- how long before the departure I better reach the station,
- and porter handling.

I'm in crunch time, else would have directly gone to the station to inquire. Could someone please suggest as to what needs to be done?

Few questions:

Which class are you travelling and how many traverllers?
After all, if you are in upper class and 2 passengers, then 75kg is within limits.

Being books, just pay for extra luggage and carry with your seat/berth.

Otherwise, you need to go close to 2-3 hrs earlier and weigh/book and load on the break van at the end of the train.
