Click here to see the full timetable of the Mumbai-Trivandrum Netravati Express. (however, that timetable was for the monsoon timetable, and that ended today, the normal timetable is almost identical though).

Got to say, I really dislike your username.

thanks

hi steve,

you disliking my name is a bizarre reaction when you don't even know me or what the name means, and to be honest my question had nothing to do with my name. i am not on this forum to have stupid conversations about your opinions.

it seems you didnt read my question correctly, whilst i appreciate your reply you may have not read that I said I had already seen timetables that is not what I am after. So if there is anyone else out there who is less interested in my name and more interested in having a productive conversation about my travels please reply. I want to know how many days it takes from mumbai to trivandrum.

thanks,

Simple, Maddie, the girl who was kidnapped/maybe killed 6 months ago, the one thats still in the news most days (and again today).

Maddie Live.....I wasn't sure if you were maybe a porn spammer or someone about to play a sick joke.

It just seems an insensitive username.

The link is to the FULL timetable, follow it from the start of the journey till the end and you'll see how many days it takes.

thanks for your help but you still haven't answered my question so refrain from answering my posts in the future.

Um, guys & gals, please keep it civil, shall we. It's what IndiaMike is renowned for, in a sort-of kind of way.

Maddie, as Steve who is probably your best source here had indicated, you'll find everything you need at
http://www.indianrailways.gov.in/
http://www.trainenquiry.com/
http://www.indiagroove.com/
or on this site for that matter.

Hello again Maddie.

First, Sorry about last night, saying what's on my mind works very well in real-life, and with friends, but it doesn't work so well on the net, I was wrong, so please accept my apology.

There are 2 routes from Mumbai to Trivandrum, the scenic Konkan route (Via Goa) and the longer route that goes inland.

Train 6345, the Netravati Express, departs Lokmanya Tilak (Mumbai) daily at 11:40 and goes via the Konkan route, getting to Trivandrum the next day at 18:40 (31 hours)

2-tier air con = Rs 1827
3-tier air con = Rs 1301
Sleeper Class = Rs 473 (not air con)

Train 1081 departs Mumbai CST daily at 15:45 and goes via the inland route, getting to Trivandrum nearly 2 days later at 09:40 (42 hours)

2-tier air con = Rs 1955
3-tier air con = Rs 1391
Sleeper Class = Rs 505
