Yesterday I booked a train from aboard by cleartrip.com. The system showed 420 seats available. There would be enough to arrange our 6 people to seat together. But after payment, the seats was assigned to no. 9, 71, 72, 73, 75 and 76. One member was separated from others. May I request to Indian Rail to rearrange our seats group together? Could anyone know the Indian Rial contact e-mail address?

Sending a request to Indian Rail is of no use as they would not change the seats which are already alloted in a ticket. It would be better if you could request of the the passengers to change the seats.

Another alternative would be to book the tickets again and see if you have got them together. If the second set of ticket is as you want then cancel the first ticket.

on the train, you might be able to get someone to move seats with you if you are all on the same coach

That one ticket can be adjusted with one person who will be in seat number 74.

Most of the times, train travelers are very adjustive and they do exchange their berths. So don't worry.
