@Aheli , the train runs at a speed of 30 kms/hour in average and in many stretches goes at a speed which seemed like 50-60km/h. It also passes through many tunnels and goes through valleys and hills :-)

Beautiful images Somnath with a beautiful writing ... One thing, if I travel to Jagdalpur from Vizag, which I have plans to do this September , what are the food options on way ? ..I mean lunch and snacks. Are anything available on the train or I have to arrange for myself from Vizag itself. I will be traveling with my family. I am inclined to book the FC.
....life is a journey.....and the journey is more important than the destination........

Hello Bhaswaran. Thanks for the kind words.
If you are traveling with family get your lunch packed from Vizag. They supply boxed lunches at Araku but honestly they didn't look inviting.
Also if you are so inclined, pick up a bottle of your favourite poison. You can enjoy it in complete privacy with local peanut and fruits.
Cheers
