Bookable FC in Araku Passenger?

IRCTC site allows for booking for the FC in the Vizag-Jagdalpur passenger that goes via Araku. It was surprising since it is only day journey in a passenger.

Can people here give advise if it is worthwhile taking taking the FC in this train?

Yes, always take it when you can, a great class, I've heard it's really scenic, but I only used the train from Koraput to Jagdalpur.

Rather heavy rush this. I wonder what the the seating plan is?
Old FC trains used to have 6 seats to sit by day and 4 to sleep (per cabin).
Is it the same in this day train or is it 4 to sit by day?

Also, what is this SL class doing in a daytime passenger?
Is there no general class in this train?

There are a plenty of general class...as this is a passenger train. When did the booking of this FC starts? 90 days ahead?

Anyway, FC is probably the best class to travel in IR.

It was a full FC carriage, and it was mostly empty between Koraput and Jagdalpur, so I don't know if the '6 per cabin' rule is used on this train.

##In some Cabins, there will be 6 passengers; altogether there will be 5 cabins.

##After Koraput, mostly FC will be empty.

What are the food options ? Meals available on this train ? .. considering it will be a long journey from VSKP to Jagdalpur

This is what two of us had , of course in a private 2 pax cabin

1. Idli sourced from Jagdalpur

2. One 750 ml Vodka

3. Peanuts , cucumber , guavas all sourced from different hawkers during the trip ;)
