What is this post about? From what I can gather, it seems unnecessarily derisive.
If you find my posts confrontationist, please bear, I am an old frustrated guy who has nothing better to do than sit on rocking chair and curse the world whole day

Would (and do) ride bullet trains in Japan. But given India's spotty record with rail safety, I'm not sure how quickly I'd sign on to rocket between Ahmedabad (why Ahmedabad, I wonder?) and Mumbai at 160 kph.

Work should have started more than a month ago, but the head of the Japanese team was waiting for a One Time Password from Indian Railways before he could verify his mobile number.

The delay at this end was also because the government was thinking which new indirect tax to levy that can take care of launching ceremony.

What is this post about?
Only a vague guess that it may refer to an old saying, when pigs fly, meaning a highly unlikely event. Of course, on my grandfather's tiny pig farm this had a different meaning. When 4 naughty kids taunt a pig down at the lot it goes 40 MPH through 4 fences with kids flying separately to the 4 corners of the farm..

I know what the idiom means ed, that is fine, but what I did not get was why bring in national flag. It is obvious that the indication was that as a nation, India is incapable of taking on any such venture, more like a ridicule, or looking down as to how the hell can India think about it.

My apologies if I got the intent wrong fsg.

I had a very different understanding of fsg's message, jituyadav. In my country, when a self-serving politician wishes to promote a dubious project for his own aggrandizement, he "wraps himself in The Flag" and claims the project is essential for the well-being or security or whatever of the country: he tries to palm off the idea that the project is a matter of patriotic necessity that cannot be questioned lest the questioner be thought to be traitorous. I don't think fsg is degrading India at all but rather is challenging the merits of the project itself and the patriotic hoo-rah with which it is being marketed.
