Hi,

I'm going to be in Armistar for a few days, leaving on the 6th of June and hopefully going to Corbett thereafter. I was wondering if anyone had an idea of what train station I would book the ticket to. Do I have to go through Delhi? Also, I know I have to take a jeep from Ramnagar - is there any way to get around this like a bus? I was hoping to just do a safari for a day, camp or get very cheap budget and head out the next day. It's at the very end of my trip so money is running low - if anyone is thinking about going to Corbett around the same time, let me know and maybe we can split some costs!

Thanks,
Max

Ramnagar has a station: and conveniently located.

AFAIK there is only one express train from Delhi which reaches by 5am. The train had 3AC but no 2A.

I called up a local Gyosy guy i knew from a previous trip and he was there to pick me up so i could make the morning safari and reached Dhikala by 11.

It will be good if you start your jounery from New Delhi rather than starting it from Amritsar.

In any ways there is NO direct link between Amritsar and Corbett...

and by the way .. how do you want to travel? How many persons? How lengthy will be the stay?
