Hello,
I want to make a travel documentary which must give out a good thought of culture and represent different ideologies of traveling.
I stay in Mumbai. So, I need some good ideas which can be shot near Mumbai but is not mandatory. I can travel anywhere for a good story.
Please let me know your opinions and ideas regarding this.

It seems to me that most creative people come up with their own ideas!

If you don't have the idea for what you want to do already, then why do you "want" to do this?

Strange first post. Welcome to IndiaMike, anendra30.

So you are a keen photographer and want to make a travel film, but don't know where to go ? Not sure I understand the drift of your intention. Is it to find out WHY people travel ? Or is it to find out WHERE they are going and show some cool places ? Both depend on your budget and your experience of film-making. Are you a film student ? You could start I suppose by going out in the streets of Mumbai, accosting tourists and asking them and recording their responses.

That gives you several options. The wildebeest are migrating in masaai mara as i write this. It's documented, but is it understood? I think you missed the lemming migration, however the arctic tern's pole-to-pole migration is unbeaten for the distance of travel. I suppose that'd be worth recording tern-by-tern.

How about a day trip to Elephanta island. You can interview people on the way to why they travel.
