I actually think Cinnamon would be a great name for a fashion label.

Also, you need a name to match the product. If your label is 'Shakti' or 'Karma' the perception in a 'western' market will be of hippy clothing. If that's not what you're making, don't call it that.

Thank you, mostly cinnamon use for food store

thinking about Svarna or The Vandana but many store already use svarna

can i use the vandana for store name?

My product will be cloth for women that use local patern textile product for ex: ikat or batik (indonesia patern) , not realy hippy stuff, but it is slow cloth (the philosophy ) not mass product and earth friendly

I will check your links

Thank you

If it is earth friendly, then use the word "dharti" (hindi : धर्ती ). It means earth in hindi, and if you want sanskrit, it is "prithvi" (पृथ्वी pṛthvī, also पृथिवी pṛthivī). More information here...

I am sure the OP will trademark the name, since they might need a website as well, as it is an online store. No copyright, just trademark.

Thank you narendra.d, for bringing up this shortcoming to our notice.

And as for me, i relinquish all rights to the OP, if any of the names I suggest gets used. And OP is clear of any and all future obligations from my side. Please consider this a written contract (signed and stamped) from my side.

Here is a wikihow article on how to start a clothing line

PS : There is already a cinnamon labelled clothing line...A cinnamon girl line, and a cinnamon botique

the only prithvi i could find is the theater company in mumbai...i did not do an extensive search

A list of sanskrit words wiht their meanings, so you can look up and find something that sounds beautiful to your ears...

I might also suggest the word "beeja", which means seed or origin. Hopefully, that will be the seed of your prosperity

Try the name
1. APSARA which means CELESTIAL BEAUTY or HEAVENLY NYMPH in Sanskrit.
2. VASTRA means clothes or BATIK VASTRA, even better ECO BATIK VASTRA or ANG-VASTRA (Body cloth) a common term in Sanskrit for the wrap around clothes for the torso
3. BANYAN BATIK
4. OM BATIK
5. ECO KARMA BATIK
6. BUDDHA BATIK i.e. Enlightened Batik i.e. Eco Batik
7. BATIK DEWI i.e. BATIK GODDESS or the GODDESS OF BATIK ... Indonesians use the spelling DEWI, whereas Indians prefer DEVI
8. NIRVANA BATIK
9. BATIK RANI i.e. BATIK QUEEN or the Queen of Batik
10. TANTRA BATIK
11. GARUDA BATIK ... GAruda is an Indian/Hindu mythical figure adopted by Indonesian, its even the name of their national airline, it means Mythical Vulture
