Hi All,
I will be travelling in Rajasthan soon and I usually carry a leather shoulder bag with all my stuff in it, plus leather shoes. I believe that some parts of India are sensitive to the wearing of leather. Am I over-reading the game, or should I leave my leather gear at home?

You can carry it all you like, don't take it in a temple that's all. Samelike for leather shoes, well any shoes for that matter. Whereabouts in Raj you'd be going?

You shouldn't have too much trouble and definitely don't worry about belts, wallets etc.

In plenty of Rajasthans beautiful markets you will find many leather goods sold, often camel I think.

Have a great time and send us a pic from India!

Done and dusted by now, I should think. OP was talking about going "soon" way back in March.
