Hi everyone. long time no post!

I am visiting Gwalior in December to attend the betrothal ceremony of an ex student. he is from a Sikh 'well placed' family. any ideas as to what is an appropriate gift?

wondered about something typical from UK but would like some advice /ideas.

many thanks

Lil

lilyrose, welcome to indiamike.

I am sure a good & big bottle of scottish libations might not go unappreciated. Please check your carry limits if you do choose to bring one. or irish firewater for that matter.

Do the english have something to call their own in this segment?

For a Sikh gentleman, ready to party, nothing beats a bottle of a fine Scotch Whiskey from the UK.

Cheers
