I like to make Ramen packet noodle soup when I come in from is cold raining day. Yes, the packet Nissin ramen

In Hawaii I make cold soba noodles and Kakigoori, a shaved ice and fruit syrup to cool me.

Iced coffee in summer and hot coffee in winter !

Apart from that, when it is very hot there's nothing like cooling water melon; when it is freezing cold, a hot soup (for example, made with chicken broth).

In an Indian context, kulfi when it is boiling hot; and momos when it is icy.

Happy New Year miyu !

When it's very hot in Rajasthan, we like to drink Kanji ( a traditional Punjabi fermented drink made of black carrots, water, mustard seed and salt.) -

A great hot weather food is chaas-rabdi.

It is never very cold in Rajasthan.

Your Favorite food for very cold and very hot weather ?

When it's 40C outside, there's nothing like getting in the kitchen and roasting a chicken... And eating it afterwards

(yes, I have. But not for a few years. In fact it's been a long time since my last roast chicken)

Bengali style aloo dum or chilli tofu if it a touch nippy.
For thoose rare warm days in Scotland a nice Greek salad always hits the spot.
Regardless of the outside temperatures all food tastes nicer with ice cold beer or wine.

South Indian food with hot sambhar and rasam for the cold
And Chilled watermelon/muskmelon cubes sprinkled with black salt/powdered sugar
Also chilled lemonade or nimbu paani made with lemon, water, black salt, white salt, sugar, a pinch of pepper and loads of ice. A couple of 'drops' of vodka add to the fun

In summer ? I thought it was winter ? Black carrot is rarely available in summer.

BTW, I was told that pind-punjus in UK cheat and throw in a couple of slices of beet instead of black carrot.
