Yes! I think it is!!!

I certainly hope so as I'll probably go now and buy a box. Thanks. I'll let you know once I taste it, if it is.

Other than all the above, Double Ka Meetha. A Hyderabadi speciality.

I used to like shrikhand too... until I had mishti doi. Sorry Ed, but the Bengali version wins hands down.
Ok, ok, ok; they're different, no competition neccessary. Eat the former with puri and the latter with a spooon.

Where did you get that?! I've only had it once, at a place where everything else was barely ok, so I'm assuming there's better Double Ka Meetha out there as well. D'you know if Hyderabad House's is any good? After a picture like that, you'd better have a place to suggest!

Home made.

Hyderabad House should be good - OK... the owner made his name and fame by catering at weddings. The food was great when he opened the first store. I got some Biryani etc., from them last time I was in town - un necessarily expensive, small portions and tasteless.

- Qubani Ka meetha.... with a scoop of ice cream . Guaranteed to knock you out for the rest of the day.

- Jalebis, mmm...

- I had a few Orissa sweets while I was in Bhubaneswar a few months back - I dont remember their names, but they were quite good!

- Mishti Doi, yeah, any time! And Srikhand too,

- I like the Tirupati Laddu.

- Rossogollas & anything in that category are nice!

At this rate I will fill a page... me and my sweet tooth...
miles to go....

It's all coming back to me now.
I had that Double Ka Meetha at a hotel buffet in Hyderabad. It was a terrible hotel with terrible food and that dessert was the best thing about my stay. I'm sure it wasn't the best example, but it was still good.
