In the '90s there was a small (less than 10 tables) Kerala restaurant few blocks off Tottenham Court subway, they brought a portable degchi on a trolley and made appams right in front of you... I think it was a weekend thing, never saw it on a week day during dinner.

WHAT IS the BEST Indian DISH?

There was a rather expensive Kerala restaurant in Central London. I think it had a branch in Stoke Newington.

The one I like for reliable /fairly authentic kerala food in central london is

https://www.ragamindian.co.uk/

The funny thing is that i have been eating the food from this restaurant for years but have never been to the restaurant ( always get it delivered)

Correct. It was Rasa. Was entertained by a raja there once.
