Do frozen taste ok? I normally don't do frozen fruit, but sometimes preserve is Ok.

No idea. I got excited after seeing Jamun for the first time in a shop here. Will try to grow from seeds.

Well, there are jamun falling off the trees here in Delhi.....I don't pick em up as it's not hygenic, but I did try a few in a park a few days back, they we're yummy.

i have eaten jamuns only once i thnk. They were slightly bitter and turned my tongue black.

No, it was not a dodgy batch. You could have sprinkle some salt on it. And the colour of tongue turns purple.
