A visit to Amritsar invariably includes two things—paying your respects at the Golden Temple, and gorging on all the delicacies the city dishes up. The locals here love their street food, and the city is swarming with street-side vendors selling the freshest, hottest and richest versions of everything from a refreshing glass of lassi and sugary, sweet halwa, to buttery paranthas and spicy gravy. Here's out list of rich Punjabi delicacies in all their fatty splendor—so get your hands dirty, and eat to your heart's content. You'll probably pack on a couple of extra kilos, but we guarantee it'll be worth the weight.

You know when the article begins with a false image, I begin to suspect the publication's editor (or photo editor's clue)

That is a roti canai, one of the most delectable of fast foods in Malaysia.

Welcome to www.happytrips.com (the "Site"), a flagship portal operated by Times Internet Limited (hereinafter referred to as the "Company").
I give very little weight to this Newspaper Group - Alas Bennett Coleman Company has been going down hill since the 70s content quality wise.

Try and watch this pair's episodes in most cities.
One is a vegetarian. The other is not
They're hilarious. But the food - ooh them hole-in-the-wall food...
Unfortunately - this clip don't have much of it.

Highway on My Plate is a great read as well.

Aditya Bal's - Chak le India - was another big favourite of mine...
