Itinerary is too packed. Not a single day in one place to rest? To wash clothes? To maintain the vehicle? To get out of the car seat and go for a walk?

Looks like you have nine days to cover nine places that are each a full day of hard driving apart. personally I feel rather exhausted and almost sick after a full day in the car on any of those routes. I certainly don't feel lively after any of those routes. And you haven't scheduled two nights in any one place, unless I misunderstand your itinerary. Well, I guess you can drive straight through Kargil to Leh in one day, so that gives you one day in your itinerary. Good news is that the govt requires permits for Nubra and Changthang again so you'll have to pause for a day in Leh before heading over Khardong La pass, which will make it much safer for you and your passengers.

We have kept 2 days each in Leh and Nubra. Every other place needs just a day. You don't need to stay two days in Pangong or Tsomoriri or Hanle. Jispa is anyway just a halting place on the way to Manali.
Ladakh is a place where you need to be on the road every day. It's not stressful if you love travelling.

Dear Funny_in

Is your trip fixed or flexible ? My wife and I am looking for a trip to ladakh similar to your itinerary but we wish to attend the ladakh festival on Sep 25. so, we would be at ladakh around Mid Sep to Sept end. ( air tickets yet to be booked ) and ours is most likely 2 weeks trip including Zanskar, Turtuk, Panamik, Pangong Tso, Hanle, Karzok --( i am an ardent route mapper. --- PL SEE THE PDF ATTACHMENTS ON OUR ITINERARY TO HAVE AN IDEA--- MAY BE USEFUL FOR YOUR TRIP TOO) etc.. IN CASE, if you are interested to attend ladakh festival and Reschedule your itinerary then we would like to join with you from Srinagar to Manali sharing the budget. One more thing is, we are PURE VEG couple from Chennai and if you people are all alpha males then you can go ahead with your plans. Anyhow, Whether we are joining with you or not, Have an enjoyable, Pleasant and safe drive. let us all strive for Litter free ladakh and Responsible eco traveller.

Haha, I have a quite the opposite feeling about both Ladakh and travelling! I much prefer any day in Ladakh that I can spend not in a car but only out in the fresh air and mountains and sunlight and greenery! Even just walking in the market or sitting around is more fun and interesting than 6 hours in a car for me.

And I love travelling, but I find consecutive long days in vehicles to be very exhausting. That's just not the kind of travelling I like. I like travelling where I stay in a place long enough to get a sense of it, walk around in it, try various foods, interact with various people, see things that are not tourist traps, etc.

You do your trips your way. I want to do my trips in the way I want.
I love travelling, seeing new places, and love the feel of driving every day to enjoy the different landscapes. I don't like to vegetate in a place sleeping and doing nothing.

Dear Karthik7865,

Thank you for your inputs.
We are a mixed group, and our tickets are booked. You can understand that getting leaves on the same dates for everyone was a challenge, and required planning for a long time.

I wish you an enjoyable vacation in Ladakh.
