Hey friends, I'm a 29 y/o M from the U.S. and I'll be flying to New Delhi the 15th of May to do some serious adventure hunting. I'm quite comfortable traveling alone and have a good idea of where I want to visit and what I hope to take away from this venture however I would love to meet some like minded individuals along the way to share the fun with! Happiness is only real when shared right?
I plan on doing a lot of camping and hiking on this trip so fellow nature nuts are definitely appreciated! I am also interested in visiting the many beautiful temples and ashrams of the region and hope to fully immerse myself in the spiritual culture. Beyond that I am open minded and searching for some new experiences.
If you are of like mind(s) and are looking to join or be joined by an experienced outdoorsman with a serious thirst for fun and adventure HIT ME UP!!!

I'll be in Lansdowne on 17-18 May on the return leg of my week-long trip in Uttarakhand. It may not be the thing you're looking for - quite a laid back and sleepy place. But in case you want to start off slow, let me know. There are a few trails around which would do a good day's rambling.

Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh for the most part. Rishikesh, Dharamsala, Kasol, and Amritsar are some towns I'm exceptionally interested in visiting. Also planning on heading into Nepal to check out Kathmandu.

Kapilankar-I wouldn't be opposed to checking out Lansdowne(especially after a quick Google Image search!). In fact seeing as it's my first time in India starting slow would probably be wise. Do you have any plans while there?

Are any of you around HP (Manali/Spiti) in mid-June?

Camping under the stars sounds very romantic, but do be aware that there are leopards lurking around Dharamsala & Kasol at night & Tigers around outskirts of Rishikesh. Here's someone who camped by a waterfall a few miles from Rishikesh 6yrs ago who hasn't been seen since; https://www.indiamike.com/india/utta...012-a-t159252/
SOS: Missing Person...

Please look at this thread: http://www.indiamike.com/india/uttar...012-a-t159252/

He could be anywhere now: You might have met him, be able to help, or give information.

I'm back from Lansdowne - the main thing to do there was to walk on the undulating terrain. The weather was good, but would be better a little later when the clouds descend. As of now it is mostly a beautiful shade of brown.
