I do not have a conclusive itinerary at the moment but I plan to spend some time in and around Mcleodganj and praobably trek the Dhauladhar area. My options are open as of now though.

I have experience only hiking in the United States. I would love to challenge myself in this part of the world by hiking in some real mountains.

Mr kumar, i appreciate your enthusiasm about 'hiking'. And i hope you get opportunity to start with some light treks in reality rather than dreams.
I will be unable to accomodate you for a trek this time as I plan to hike trails which will probably test my own skills so I rather not take added responsibility.
Cheers!

Hey Musk,

I am a 23 year old Indian male and I'm presently in the process of completing my last year of University education. I have not trekked or hiked in the past, however, I am interested in most outdoor activities. Infact, I've enrolled for the Basic Mountaineering Course (BMC) at Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM) early next year. I am generally fit and recently ran my first Half Marathon (Sorry! I had to mention that. :P).

While I felt from your previous posts that you wanted someone more experienced, however, I thought I might as well ask you once.

Dates: I would be free during the period between November 11 - December 1 after which I'd have to slave myself to law firms for the next couple of months.

Equipment: I do have a rucksack and trekking shoes and a bit of literature on trekking/mountaineering - I was told 'Freedom of the Hills' is the bible of mountaineering- but other than that, I have only expectations of enjoying trekking.

Looking forward to your reply.
