I am planning to visit Jaipur, Bundi, Udaiypur, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer during , preferably, 19-27 December 2009. Though some modification in dates and itinerary can be done. Umm, yes the budget will be low, but is money that much necessary to get the feel of nature, humanity and serenity? I will come with my D90, to capture some beautiful images, and expect the partner to be of exploring nature. If we can be friends it is very good, but otherwise at least we can make our journey safer, as a single person in a far off place can not do much exploration, without compromising safety.
Myself working as an Inspector of taxes, with Government of India, aged 26/M, full of happiness, cheerful person.
Are you coming??http://www.indiamike.com/india/images/smilies/cool2.gif

Thumbs up

Shaheen! Good to see someone replying. I will arrive in Jaipur on 18th night. and in any case will depart from Jaisalmer for delhi on 27th morning. I have not made any reservation for any train/hotel/bus, but will reserve only outward and return tickets of trains from delhi to jaipur and jaisalmer to delhi. I have travelled a bit in my country and I know that these things can be arranged as and when required. I plan to give two days to jaipur and around, one day to bundi, two days to udaiypur, and rest to jaisalmer or/and jodhpur. This can be changed suitably, if you have any other good itinerary. Staying in some village can be considered, at the cost of other places, if it offers some good value. My budget will be low. I will spend around 300-500 on hotel rental per day maximum. Total you can say 1000-1200-1500 per day at best. For special things like camel safari etc . i can think of spending more. But for guides, only if it is utmost necessary.
I neither drink, nor smoke, and I can not tolerate smell of these things. So, one who will accompany me/ whom I will accompany, can not smoke or drink, else, I will see someone else. I am a vegetarian, but a non-veg can eat what he/she wants, even if sitting at the same table, no issues with this. Trust is the reason, for what I want a friend, otherwise I am safer alone. I am a India Government employee, so I can not do anything which is unbecoming of a public servant. I have many things at stake, in fact my whole career, if I do any wrong thing. I will update my profile here. But not much details I will give here. If you have orkut profile, then search for " Dushyant Kumar, Baraut, Meerut" I will be the first one there.
Now it is your turn to say something about yourself, your plans etc. bye.

Hi,

I am leaving USA tomorrow and will arrive in Delhi on Dec 8. I have not firmed up anything as of yet. I was thinking out going to the same places you have mentioned. I will be in India until 1Jan 12th and do plan on spending some time in the south. Let me know if you think we can work something out. I think it would be interesting to travel and get an Indian perspective. You can email me at welong59@hotmail.com....

Thanks everybody...But...

Thanks to everyone for showing interest in the itinerary. But it is so sad for me to put down all of you. Reason?? Umm.. actually I had to drastically change my trip, actually cut half in size, due to a very important personal reason. you can not imagine my state of mind. How sad I am. But I must say sorry, for wasting your time. The reason is so much important, that anybody in my place would have done the same. And it is so personal I can't to divulge the details here. So please understand and forgive me. Thanks.
