Transfer from International to Domestic Airport Mumbai
I have bought ticket from Air India on line. My flight to Mumbai arrives 04.00 and my connecting flight leaves 05.20 Two people on same PNR number
Will Air India assist us on the transfer from International to domestic side in Mumbai. Air India call centre did not understand my question.
Also will Air India automatically transfer luggage
Now, international and domestic flights operate from the same Terminal (Terminal 2), hence will have no problem in transfer.
Grateful for you information now I have peace of mind
Are both the flights with Air India? If yes, luggage would be transferred easily.
But I am not sure about the time for exit from immigration and customs to domestic checkin and security. (Option is to get boarding passes for both flights together, assuming the flight operator remains the same). 80 minutes seems a bit tight. I may be wrong.
Experts may opine on the same.
ETA - sorry if I have taken away the above!!
Yes both flights are booked with Air India, inclusive deal. I have flown this route once in the past before the new airport was built.
Will request boarding passes for both flights at Heathrow and appreciate your advice
The airport is the same the terminal T2 is new. Air India should take care of your luggage and boarding pass.
