It is a good news since Boolywood has its reach deep in the Indian society and it has created a sort of admirers to the international plateforms as well.

I'm pretty sure it's the 6-10 June, the awards show is on the 9th. Just google IIFA (indian international film academy?). There is also a cricket match for charity at headingley between a bollywood eleven and some others. All good fun.:D

The awards show is at the arena by the way... The tickets are not so reasonably priced!

Thanks! I will sadly be working in Edinburgh, but I'll let my Dad know - I doubt he'd want to go to the show, but he might head for the cricket match!:D

Oooooo, I'd love to be there (IIFA/Sheffield).

If it wasn't E X P E N S I V E! Tickets, travel to the UK, travel in the UK, accommodation, eatings & drinkings, ...
[cry]

(Still, it's a lot closer to home now than it has been. Should I stay or should I go now...)

I've been to Ramoji Film City, and it was a disappointment of a kind. No info on films / stars. Even the shops stocked the average souvenirs only - no film souvenirs really, e.g. film/star posters, postcards, books.
