Indian father and Filipino mother (not married), baby girl born in Philippines and 6 months completed, currently staying in Philippines. I plan to get her Indian Citizenship / passport.
I checked the CITIZENSHIP ACT 1955, however, it does mention about being married in the ACT. However, application to register the baby with INDIAN high commission in Manila does mention marriage certificate in the list of documents.
May someone had similar situation, is it possible to obtain INDIAN PASSPORT for the baby and take her to INDIA.
Is parents being married a compulsory as per CITIZENSHIP ACT 1955.
