Isn't the usual route during kanwaria season Delhi to Hapur via NH-24, then local road back to Meerut and NH-58? The detour must be 30km at most. Any special reason you need to go by Karnal?

Hi anyone with more advise for route via karnal (Delhi to mussorie)

Concern is on the route from Yamuna nagar, we should go via Saharnapur or Via Ponta saab,
which one will be the best route in terms of Road Quality , Traffic and distance

You can go via Shamli-Saharanpur... much less Kavad traffic there.

I do not think that this Hapur-NH 58 route will be free from Kanwarias.

Delhi-Panipat-Pipli-Jagadhari-Paonta Sahib-Dehradun-Mussorie looks like a better route in this scenario.

If you take this route then there is a shortcut to Mussorie. When you enter Dehradun, just after FRI Campus take a left turn for Dehradun Cantt then ask directions for Johdi village, go through Johdi Village, this will take you to Mussorie Road. No need to go through congested Chakrata Road and Rajpur Road area. This shortcut leaves you at just short of famous Shiv Mandir enroute Mussorie.

Shamli-Saharanpur road is in pathetic shape. There is no road at all, it has pot holes big enough to devour a small car.
I did not fully understand the dread term "Terminal Illness" until I saw Terminal 1 D of Delhi Airport.
