Reliability of tour operators

In November I will visit India for the first time. I've looked at server tour packages and roundtrips with several tour operators. I've found a trip to my likings which is reasonably priced. Now I wonder how save it is to book this trip? Is there anyone who has good or bad experiences with

I have moved your thread into the India Travel Itinerary Advice forum, Inge, where most of these questions go. A few threads about travel operators at the bottom of this page too. My suggestion is to read some of the existing threads here, do a search within the forum with the words 'travel agent' as well. There have been some reliable ones suggested here.

You should really contact a few agents and compare their quotes etc. Not just rely on one. I've never heard of these people which is not to say they are good, bad or otherwise.

Incidentally, I can't find this particular website - there is but not the one you have mentioned.

It would be helpful if you gave the cost per person and no. of days for the tour, and an idea of where you are going.
