Hello all,

My friend had visited Ranthambore last year and stayed at an affordable hunting lodge while he on a tiger safari. He told me that the place had a lot of character and had names like "The Leopard Room" and "The Tiger Room"... Unfortunately, he can't remember the name of the lodge!

Can any of you point me to the name of this place? I just want to stay somewhere affordable with a rustic hunting lodge feel. Thanks a ton!

Castle Jhoomar Baori was once a hunting lodge, now operated by RTDC for park lodging. Taj Sawai Madhopur Lodge is another former hunt camp. A third one(oldest, best) inside the park gates near the banyan tree - Jogi Mahal - is not available to any public/tourist bookings as far as I know.
We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time. ~
