I want to plan a trip to Mathura in Dec with my brother's family including 2 kids (younger one is 5 years) for 2 days & 1 night. We want to see places in mathura at an easy pace. We plan to go in our own car from Delhi.

Can someone please guide me on the following:
- Is it a good idea to go in own car ? Will we get parking place in Mathura ?
- Do you suggest less or more time in Mathura if we want to see all places at an easy pace.
- Please suggest decent places to stay for night. We will not mind staying in dharamshala etc provided it is clean and we can get independent rooms. Decent hotel, if it is in a convenient location is also OK.
- Any things to keep in mind when going with kids ? I heard monkeys create a menace at some places
- Any place nearby you suggest can be added to itenary (other than Bharatpur - where we went a few years back)

Any helpful information will be appreciated ...

It is a good idea! You may travel by your car but be careful as the timing would be apt for dense fog and smog!

There is international Tourist home in the campus of Janmabhoomi. There are hotels also in the surrounding area.

You have correctly heard. You will have to save your specks also; else monkeys would steal from your nose and will not return unless you give them something to eat!
