Hai Mailkontour

I had done this trip in october, ( i was using a four wheel). But i came across many two wheelers. So dont worry. Pls note that forest checkpost from Kerala side allows entry from 6 am to 4 pm and from the other side (sholayar) i think the last time for entry will be also 4 pm. Pls fill up a chalakudy, as there are not gas stations till you reach Malakkaparai. Take some company with you,and keep camera ready , if you are lucky you may spot tuskers. Enjoy your trip

Thank you Patnayak,
if you are just coming back, I want to ask you another question.
If we start at Valparai, is it only going down? We don't have motorbikes, we have bicycles and are not sure if we will make it in one day...

There are no steep sections on this route.

Thank you patnayak and HV Kumar. So it should be possible to cycle from Valparai in one day to the waterfall.
I am looking forward to it!
