My and I are doing a Rajasthan tour in March 2019. We will be doing the tour in a counterclockwise direction, starting from Delhi and Agra and ending in Jaipur. We will be hiring a car and driver. I have a question about one part of our itinerary - the piece from Agra to Nawalgargh, specifically if it can be done in one day with a driver.

After visiting the Taj Mahal, we plan to travel from Agra to Nawalgargh (after our morning visit to the Taj Mahal). Likely we will leave late morning.

Is it too much to make the journey from Agra to Nawalgargh In one day (including the morning visit to the Taj).? We wanted to avoid a one night stay in Jaipur as we will be returning there at the end of the trip for a longer stay. And it is a big city for such a brief stopover. Is there another option that could be about 4 hours from Agra? Or is it safe to do the entire trip, keeping in mind that is a 400 kilometre trip and will involve some night driving.

Maybe Dausa (Abhaneri / Bhandarej) could be an option for an overnight halt.
