What are good places to visit in December in India? Ideally, should be budget and not run of the mill. Thank you!

Goa, its the festive season. Or Munnar if you plan down south.

Run of the mill would mean something thats not so common, and I guess going by that both Goa and Munnar are quite common

Sorry piyukamath. As I found Run of the mill ->

1. The ordinary, basic article, with no decoration or augmentation. Says phrases.org.uk

2. Not special or outstanding; average. Says urbandictionary.com

3. Lacking unusual or special aspects; ordinary: Says oxforddictionaries.com

So it means something common and yes, Goa and Munnar are 'not run of the mill' really

@Rashi, you can see this : http://www.indiamike.com/india/mahar...f-beat-t70022/

And Rashi, welcome to Indiamike a right choice to get your 'not run of the mill' destination.

Not so common For whom? It's all quite relative isn't it.

The OP hasn't used the search function or bothered to explore the many many forums on this site, most of which are full of great ideas where to visit in practically every season and sometimes even in a specific month. She gives no clue as to what her budget is, where she has been previously.

For me, Mumbai is pretty off beat - haven't been there in a while.

Oops Duronto Jajabar, I thought I just wrote what Rashi_V meant, and messed it up in the process

Any break from the mundane, anytime would be welcome, common or not! And yea, common would be just a matter of perspective.
