Is there anyone who can explain what the different classes means:

1) First Class AC (1A)
2) First Class AC
3) AC 2 Tier Sleeper (2A)
4) AC 3 Tier (3A)
5) AC Chair Car (CC)
6) Sleeper Class (SL)

We woudl like to do an overnight train from Chennai to Bangalore and want to find the best possible option where we can sleep too.

Regards
Pants

In my opinion, AC II Tier (known as 2A in railway parlance) is the best class.
I did not fully understand the dread term "Terminal Illness" until I saw Terminal 1 D of Delhi Airport.
