Definately and specially if you like the old forts and palaces. I visited chittaur in 1997 but from city, view of the fort in the night is amazing and still fresh in my mind. Visit to the chittaur fort is a must. RTDC hotel panna is best in chittaurgarh.

Chittaugarh can also be a day trip from Udaipur. But since you want to avoid night travel by train, an overnight at Chittaugarh is good enough.

Hi Louise,
Definitely visit Chittaugarh, the fort is superb! We didn't stay overnight as we only had time between train connections.
Regards,
Gokarna
