The instances in which you can get coverage overseas under Part A and B are extraordinarily limited. It's really not worth the effort tracking them down.

Some Medicare Advantage plans provide limited overseas coverage, with a dollar cap. But you have to be actually resident in the US to enrol in a Medicare Advantage plan. And you're not covered for overseas care after you've been outside the US for more than 60 continuous days.

I made a mistake there. I was actually referring to Medigap not Medicare Advantage. There are some Medigap options that provide the overseas coverage I mentioned. A Medicare Advantage plan may or may not provide some overseas coverage, depending on the plan.

I came here for information about visa, referenced by someone in a different site and was scrolling thru the post's and somehow clicked on this, def a good read by sister salima god bless her, I just had to register and turn my shields off (adsblocker lol) I guess I am a future inmate, I was awed by her being here since 2003 most def a deal maker in the hospitality of this site, so far so many lovely wise people sooo generous with their value able knowledge, refreshing change from some of the more ruff and tumble places I usually hang out on the web.
