Both days could be a problem. Tomorrow is 4th Saturday and Tuesday is Christmas. Call them and confirm if they would be working on either days.

Most embassies will require parents passports and marriage certificate . Some even ask for the birth certificate of the parents as well. There might be a requirement of a family book ( they want this in the UK at the moroccan consulate )

But what document is given to prove that you've had a baby? Anything from the hospital?

This can only be answered by the Embassy officials. The Embassy cannot be too big, given that it is in VV and that too in C block , I suggest that your spouse give them a call.

Hi,thanks everyone for helping me out with your suggestions. So we finally managed to get the Moroccan birth certificate for the baby and also applied for the passport. Can anyone guide me on the type of visa the baby is going to need before leaving India.
