Hi! I've just moved to Delhi 2 weeks ago. So far it has just been all about work, but am getting a little ansy. I need a social circle I can do stuff with. Where's the best place to meet other expats?

I have heard about how unsafe it is for a woman here in Delhi, so am being a little cautious. Generally, in any other town, I would be out and about, exploring and discovering new places/ things to do. Here, I have no idea where to start.

Any suggestions?

Visit your embassy

I would suggest you to visit your embassy and register yourself and join some cummunities to meet people from your country. Also, Lodhi Garden Cafe, Khan market would be nice place to meet other expats.

It doesn't interest me what you do for a living.
I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare dream of meeting your heart's longing.

anmol,
Meet ups take place all over the world I think. We in Delhi are very active on this front. We decide a place a pub or a restaurant & in winter some beautiful park & then we the local members & also member travellers who happen to be in Delhi come over. Many a times we drive out to sample exotic local cuisine or take in some festivals... let me know when u are coming & how many days u are staying in Delhi.

Caffeole,

I moved to Delhi 1 year and 2 months ago and have slowly made some expat friends. Am here living and working in Delhi and always looking to broaden my friendship base.

If you fancy meeting for a coffee/tea etc please feel free to PM me and I would be happy to help in any way I can.
