Hi All - does anyone know if I can travel domestically as a foreigner with my PAN card? I am getting conflicting information from the airlines. I will need to leave my passport in Delhi to get a visa processed and cannot spend the week away from the office waiting for it so will need to fly home and be able to fly back to Delhi. I can show my PAN card, FRRO sheet and copy of the passport/visa. Will that be sufficient? Does anyone have any experiences flying on a PAN card domestically as a foreigner?

You may carry PAN card, FRRO sheet and copies of the passport/visa, and show PAN Card as Photo ID proof.

If asked (though chances are remote), you may show copies of the passport/visa
