Thanks Dr. Rudi for the map. It seems Dabeer Pura is a local Hyderabad railway station. I think I framed by question wrongly.

I am coming by train from Mumbai. Which outstation railway station at Hyderabad or Secundrabad would be nearest to the High court. And how far is it from the High Court?

Secunderabad Jn is about seven kilometres further away, so 12 kilometres.

Begampet is about the same distance (12 kilometres away from the High Court) as Seunderabad Jn

Are you going to be taking public transport? Or hiring a cab? If you hire a cab/auto, you can just say high court, and they should know. Landmarks are Madina Hotel in old city. This is a very big hotel, and is on the main road, just at the start of the lane that goes towards high court (less than 500 meters).

If you are taking public transport, take buses that go towards Afzalgunj/charminar/Zoo park/Rajendranagar. The last two destinaton buses would go the closest to the high court, but there is no reason to look for those buses. They may not be many of them.

The shortest distance is from the Nampally/Hyderabad. Begumpet and Secunderabad are almost the same distance, and about 5-8km more than Nampally.

the high court is situated in the old city area, very near to the Afzalgunj bus stop. You can see it from there, if you know which side to look. There is a bridge called naya pul. Afzalgunj bus stop is on one side. As soon as you cross the naya pul, the road goes three ways, left goes towards the museum, right goes towards the front of the court, (along the musi), and the straight road leads to charminar.

You have to go across the bridge (naya pul), take the road that goes towards charminar, walk a bit further (less than 100 meters) until the madina hotel, and at the signal (the straight road goes to charminar) , go right, into the lane beside Madina hotel for about 500 meters, and the high court is to your right. the back gates are where you enter.

The front gate of the courts are facing the musi river side, and are almost never open. Don't take this road, because there are no lanes in between, you have to go upto the end of the road, and go around city college, or cut through the college, and then go left for the back gates of the court.

By cab, it would take you less than half an hour from nampally, and about 1 one hour from secunderabad/begumpet. Begumpet station is not on the main road, but autos/taxis are available outside the station. For a bus, you have to walk to the main road (less than 1 km).

I would advise you to get off at Nampally/hyderabad.
