Hello,

I'm trying to find a good butcher in Hyderabad. Ideally around HiTech City but anywhere is good. Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks

What do you mean by 'good' Butcher?. Can't give exact leads in Hi-tech city but If you look around, you will find many butcher shops. Old city area is probably the best and nearest to you.

And what kind of meat. Chicken and Goat meat (called mutton) are a dime a dozen. Pork and beef, not so many except in some areas.

The OP will be back to explain, but my definition of a good butcher is one who slices or chops the meat properly. Too many seem to just pulverise it and hope for the best.

Better to ask neighbours or to go to a crowded shop.

Chicken and beef would be great. A good butcher to me would be one that has good fresh product and a clean operation. Thanks everyone for the advice you've provided.

I'm yet to come across a butcher shop which looks remotely clean or hygienic. I prefer getting my chicken from the inOrbit mall in the HiTech area. Their poultry section is quite decent and the stuff is usually fresh.
