Delhi Metro, NO MANURE allowed!

Only in India...there is a posted sign near the ticket box that tells you what you can and can NOT take on the train. One is Manure of any kind, in which case I had to go back outside and empty my pockets.

Some manures are an essential ingredient for crude bombs that terrorists use and having a bag full of those kind of manure is not permitted as other components could be smuggled in by others if it is a planned attack so Delhi metro is doing a good job by not letting such "stuff" in.

I am aware of the bomb issue but I think it had other intentions. I've traveled some but I've never seen the use of cow pies the way India does. (For the record I'm also not knocking the muti uses of cow manure in any way, the first post was meant to be a lighthearted ; )

BTW...I was super impressed by the Delhi metro, it's really nice!!
