A gem merchant's prize cow is producing bejewelled dung after it ate a pile of hay where he had hidden a bag of 1700 diamonds worth more than Rs40,000.

Dilubhai Rajput is feeding the cow on fruit and laxatives in Gujarat and has recovered 300 diamonds in 3 days.

My dog ate the buttons off a calculator once, then ate a tub of vaseline - it was a whole new way to pick lottery numbers! Didn't win though

Good spotting Steven. I saw it in one of the local rags. Had it been a little longer we could have submitted it to Private Eye's Funny Old World page.
