Hi,

Im planning to take a group of around 150 students aged around 20 years to Delhi/Shimla in January..

I was wondering if it is a good idea to go in January.. Can anyone tell me, if its really cold at that time.. We are planning to stay for atleast 3 days there..

Also, are there any good hotels where we can accomodate 150 students..

Let me know..

Thanks,
Bhavin

We had gone to Shimla in December during christmas..it was fun...you can see snow and try skiing at certain places but warm wear is a must. Very warm wear and check if the hotel has room heaters, it is a must.
I have no idea about hotels in Shimla. Good luck
Are we there yet??

phrozen,

Shimla in January will be freezing, but fun!

As you are in Mumbai, why don't you contact the Himachal Tourism office at 36, World Trade Centre, Cuffe Parade; and discuss your requirements with them? They'll guide you correctly.

They do have heaters in their rooms. This hotel is run by HPTDC, so I re-iterate my suggestion of your contacting their Tourist Office at Mumbai.
