Places around Janjehli..trip planning help
Hello all,
I want to do 5 days trip around Janjehli (5 days in hand excluding logistics)..planning to spend 2 days in Janjehli including Bulah midow and Shikari devi.
Please guide me for possible excursions for remaining 3 days: I have Prashar lake in mind for a day. How green will be the trek route on October-13, 2018?
I am doing this mostly using public transport. Any other places which I can visit around Janjehli/Mandi? or any other places I can visit within 100 km?..I can hire cab for parts if required.
Chindi, Karsog comes in mind. Will they have similar landscape as Janjehli or different experience?
Is Chindi better than Janjehli?
Please help planning.
Thanks in advance.

Janjehli or Chindi
Thanks atala for your kind reply, I too had found the same videos during my research.
Was looking for first hand info./views, got suggestions from other forum and had zeroed down to Janjehli and Chindi both.
After successfully completing the trip, as per my experience:
Janjehli is very very scenic and untouched, has this raw feeling (at least in October). Also, a lovely river flows through the village (I stayed at upper Janjehli, I.e. village Kataru).
Chindi is just a small stretch on Karsog-Shimla road, scenic too offering valley view from above.
One can spend 3-4 days easily exploring Shikari devi and other small trekking trails in Janjehli, while for Chindi one day is sufficient to explore 1-2 trails among pine forest.
I did not find Karsog much appealing relatively after visiting Janjehli.
