Partners for Kanamo peak in June

I have planned to summit mount kanamo (5965) in the first week of june this year.
It would be great if someone wants to accompany.
One nigt stay at kibber
Another night at base camp
Back to kibber or kaza, as possible
Explore some more places around kaza
And back to manali.

One buffer day for summit is reserved in case of bad weather

Not sure buddy
Vut it's very much doeable in a day
I found a gps trail on wikiloc according to which the toral disra frok distance from kibber to summit is 19km
On summit the distance will be less but it will be a good steep climb.
This is a non technical peak, expect some snow in first week of june, but that depends only if march experiences morr snowfall

Sorry for the wrong info.
I checked again, distance from kibber to summit and back is 19.5 km (based on a gps trail).
Time taken to reach BC is 5 hours.

Sorry prachi, due to some reasons I would not be able to travel that side as I am not able to take out a weeks time.
Let me know if you are interested in manimahesh lake trek, it takes maximum four days and I am planning to go there

Do share your trek details and contact of the guide you took along.
If you write a blog then do share its link.
It would help upcoming kanamo trekkers :)

@Prachi,

I am planning to do Kanamo summit along with one of my friend in july 1st week (most likely between 6th and 8th july).

It would be of great help if you could share the contact of the guide. :)

I am planning to write a blog about it. When I was planning to do it, I couldn't find enough documentation..:)

The guide with us was Lama ji from Norling guest house in kibber. He is the most famous guide for Kanamo and parang la pass.
You can google norling guest house kibber and get his number from there.

Also, after returning from the trek, I realized that Indiahikes is organizing treks to mount Kanamo this year. However its a 7 days trek manali-manali.

Check if it suites you
