Hiya...
Welcome to Indiamike...!

Manali is the honeymooners capital of the country...
Go there in May or July or September or November or December or February or anytime, you'll find them...!

The weather in Feruary is just lovely...
The best of winters really...
Bhuntar airport is around 50 km from Manali...

Lots of Tibetan joints...
Non-vegetarian cuisine is available everywhere...

Best not to do an advance booking...
If you have to, do it for one night only...

Cheers...!

1. The weather will be excellent. 'Excellent' is different for different people. I love heavy winters and snow and all, and so I call it excellent.

2. 2 year old son should not be a problem. Just take adequate warm clothes. Inner warm wear is the best.

3. Nearest airport is Bhuntar, which is several km before Kullu.

4. I do not think advance booking is an issue. In this season, mainly honeymooners, and a few crazy guys like me who love snow and adventure, are all you will find. There are enough hotels in Manali, so you can go and check a few hotels yourself and decide.

5. As solo trekker above has said, non veg food should not be a problem. I am not aware whether HPTDC serves non veg or not.

One advice: Do visit Solang Nullah, you will have the time of your life.
