Hi all,

I am planning to visit Manali region in early November'16. Itinerary would be somewhat like this:

Day1- Pune to Delhi (Morning)/Delhi to Manali (Night)
Day2- Reach Manali (Morning)/Local Sightseeing
Day3- Visit to Rohtang Pass (Early Morning)
Day4- Manali to Mandi (Morning)/Mandi to Parashar Lake (by car)
Day5- Parashar Lake to Mandi/Mandi to Delhi (Evening)
Day6- Reach Delhi (Morning)/Delhi to Pune (Evening)

I have a few queries:
- Is it doeable?
- Would Rohtang Pass & Parashar lake accessible in this time of the year?
- In Manali, which would be better place to stay Old Manali or New Manali?
- Few good hotels/B&B? Budget is 2500/- I would staying with my wife & clean toilet is a neccessity.

Thanks.
Niloy

Yes
Rohtang top will not be accessible. Only till snow point (gulaba/ marhi). Parashar will be in similar situation.
New manali. old manali gets deserted after September
try snow peak retreat near hadimba temple. beautiful views. else can book HPTDC hotels.

November first week will not be a problem for Rohtang; but if the idea for seeing snow is a purpose then you need to travel further to Kunzum Pass which would have started receiving snow as it is higher than Rohtang by 500 metres and will take about maximum two hours by road or less! One must be prepared for the cold as the autumn winds are chilly!
