Ram Swaroop! That's the name I was trying to recall. He's a real gentleman, I agree..never stayed there but have booked the place for friends who were keener on Hotel Bhagsu, which was unavailable. After having looked at twenty odd hotels and guest houses, the reason I narrowed my choice down to Kareri and Pema Thang is because of the staff. And that particular room in Kareri is worth every paisa.

Hi,

I cannot figure out how to post this msg under the appropriate thread, hence doing it here..

Would anyone know if there's a market for export quality cotton wear in Dharamshala - pyjamas, cotton shirts, tops etc so one can limit one's baggage & purchase there instead.

Thanks!
PS- @Moderator - finding the tab : 'post new thread' is rather complicated in here..

Dharamshala info

Thanks Doksanomo!

Budget as in anywhere less that 1000..
I plan to be there about 10-12 days. Have found out about The Lha organisation for Tibetan refugees, planning to volunteer with them.

Shouldn't be too difficult:

Well, one finally does get to it..but that's the issue - could be simplified, i'm sure, since there are quite a few posts about people asking to be directed there.

How? Any ideas?
The New Thread link can't be shown when browsing a "Thread" like this one, it has to be in a specific forum.

Check this out..dont know if this can be replicated here, but to convey the idea - Below each thread, right at the bottom, you have "poser la question dans le forum" (ask question in the forum).. One just needs to click on that.
Basically the option to post in the forum accompanies each post.
Well?
Are you a moderator by the way?

While a "New Thread"Link can be put any where, I would think it is much more logical and intuitive to have it in a much more visible form (the way its here) and some where on the top of the page than a small text field type the way it is in the link.
