Hello. I'm after some advice regarding a visit to Jwala ji. On 7 March I intend to see the morning arti at Chamunda Devi, then head to Kangra ji for the afternoon and on to Jwala ji by evening. I know that there a lot of places to stay near the temple but can anyone recommend accommodation for a woman travelling solo? Also can anyone put me in touch with a reliable, not greedy priest who would be able to conduct a Chandi havan for me, early the next morning (8th March)? Approximate cost?

Thank you,
Jai Deva!
Shyamashakti.

Hi!

I have no idea about lodgin in that area, but i am a good friend of a priest in Bhagsunag mandir (Near Dharamshala). He is as you ask for, non-greedy and reliable. Though I don't know how much he would charge for such a puja (and the travelling) but if you like I can contact him and ask.

I would recommend you to stay at Himachal Pradesh Tourism (HPTDC) Hotel. It can be booked online.

If you want to get a Homa done at the temple itself, then I think you should contact the temple priests there.
I did not fully understand the dread term "Terminal Illness" until I saw Terminal 1 D of Delhi Airport.
