The best place to stay in Dharmakot with family is Sagar Cottage.....Its cheap and very very homely...Its the last cottage at the end of the Dharamkot village, from where you start the Triund trek....We 2 families with kids stayed there in May 2015 for 3 nights, but the memories are etched in our heart forever.... The caretaker Vijay, the all-rounder (09736363627) is such a nice fellow who is very much willing to help you with everything.....His cooking hands are just fantastic... Owner Daya Sagar ji (09816120145) is also a nice person who arranged our tents for Triund .... The DB rooms in Sagar cottage are very clean, airy, comes with a geyser and attached toilet @ just Rs 600 per night....Just go for it.....btw they also have some open space in the front for the kids to play around....the view of Mcleodganj below is just awesome .... only thing is that you need to climb some stairs up to reach the hotel from the road....but that brings the peace....
If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun
