Dear all,

I have visited Shimla during my backpacking trip in India on summer 2008.Now I'm thinking to go back & buy some cotton fabric & silk scarf to sell here in Malaysia .
During my visit, I have walked further into the market behind the Mall area, & saw a lot of colourful cotton fabric, which I assumed the local used to make salwar kameez. Do any of you know the specific name of the cotton? Is it cotton voile? I have been to many cities in Rajasthan, Maharashtra, & southern India , but I think the ones sold in Shimla market are the most colourful & of good quality. In Jaipur, my friends bought some cotton & have them tailored into salwar kameez, but the colours ran out after the first wash. Are the cotton the specialty of Shimla? Can I get them anywhere else without going up to Shimla again?

Looking forward to hear your answers.

Have a good day everyone~
