Hi,
I am currently in McLeodganj and pushing off to Dalhousie tomorrow.
Is Chamba worth going to esp in this weather (It's less than 1000m above sea level)? Please advice.
Cheers!

Orchard Huts in Chamba

if you do go to Chamba and need a nice place to stay, stop by Mani Mahesh Travels in Lakeshmi Narayan Temple Lane in Chamba and book a room in their Orchard Hut. This is a description:
www.himalayanlap.com/orchard.html

It is a nice walk up to Orchard Hut - there is no road, so you have to carry your belongings. They will help you.

Journey far.....
Walk in Peace.

Orchard Hut

Hey there 10Year!
Please take my advice and go to Orchard Hut. Itīs higher, at 1300metres and you can pay a visit to Chamba town from there, as it might be too hot to stay there.

What time do you guys get up in the morning? If you sleep in then itīs too hot by the time you go out.
In hot countries I find it better to get up with the birds, have an excursion, walk , whatever in the cool part of the day, then after lunchtime you have a LONG rest through the hottest hours, until 4pm or so when you can do something else until dark.
